Fundamentals of movement for games at Early Years and KS1

 

A practical course providing stimulating activities for 3-6 year olds including:

• Warm ups & use of inside & outside space;

• Basic movement skills including co-ordination & control, spatial awareness, aiming, predicting and estimating.

Delegates will gain a better understanding of the fundamental movement skills linked to the Early Years & Foundation Stage objectives in PE and how to present these in an engaging, safe and age appropriate way.

They will gain confidence in this area as well as an understanding of the latest physical activity guidelines for this age group and the improved health benefits.
